K. Hillman, President
At Deloitte Consulting, Mr. Hillman's clients reflected a broad range of industries. Dave led firm-wide industry groups for travel and leisure. His consulting engagements include industry best practice studies, travel management process improvement engagements. T&E reporting systems selection, aviation studies, hospitality and gaming industry assignments and rental car projects among many other travel industry related engagements.
Deloitte has been a leader in assisting prominent buy-out firms with some of the largest M&A transactions involving a travel or leisure industry related business. These included large travel agencies, hotel and resort companies, car rental organizations and restaurant chains. Since leaving Deloitte in 2000, Dave has continued his activities with M&A and joined Travel Solutions Group, a leader in travel related M&A assistance, as President. In 2012, Mr. Hillman took over sole ownership of TSG.
Mr. Hillman is a frequent speaker at travel industry and commercial card conferences, a past member of the Board of Governors for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and a member of the National Business Travel Association (NBTA).
He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Columbia University.
Dayle deRaat, Vice President
After selling her interest in Ace Travel House, Ms. deRaat moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for two global travel agency consortiums. She was director of supplier relations for Woodside Travel Trust and vice president/general manager for SRG International (renamed Synergi).
In the mid-1990s, Ms. deRaat relocated to San Diego, California to take a position as president of Carefree Travel which was subsequently sold to another San Diego agency. After a year-long consulting project with US Airways, she spent over 12 years as a senior sales executive for the GDS, Amadeus, specializing in the GDS needs of large national and regional travel agencies throughout the United States.
Ms. deRaat joined Travel Solutions Group in 2012.
During her tenure in the industry, Ms. deRaat has served on many industry boards and committees. She was a member of the ARC Joint Advisory Board and vice chair of the Government Affairs Committee for ARTA. She also participated in various committees, seminars and industry events for ASTA, ICTA and Travel Weekly.
